Read-a-Thon: Reading by Night

October 25, 2009 at 2:40 am (24-Hour Read-a-Thon)

deweys-readathonbuttonFeeling a little tired and headachey, I took a break from Brideshead Revisited and picked up the second Austin family book, The Moon by Night. Unfortunately, the headache has come on full strength; I took some Aleve and am trying to make sure to change my focus frequently, but I have been plagued by these intense, highly photosensitive headaches at night over the past few weeks. It’s only a few more hours, though, and I don’t want to bail early, not after sleeping though a third of the Read-a-Thon.

Perhaps some ice cream would improve matters …

Are you still around? Or sleeping and resting? No matter what, you’ve done great so far. Ready for the last stretch?! Come on. GO GO GO. Cheering for you from Copenhagen, Denmark.

You are doing fantastic! It’s great to see you are still reading!! I think Brideshead Revisited would have put me to sleep hours ago!! A great book, but not sure I could handle it this late!

    Keep it up!

Just hang in there for less than two more hours, and you’ve made it! 🙂 Avoid the Waugh at all costs! lol
